Summiting In 2026

Europe is famous for legendary alpinists summiting some of the highest peaks in the world. To accomplish this feat, their lives depend on always having the most advanced gear that works well for them under all conditions.
But don’t pack up your ice axe just yet. Because where we are actually headed, you may like to strap on another kind of axe.
We are not talking about climbing per se — although how cool would it be to summit only to set up your amp and guitar at the top of the mountain and blast out your favorite tunes into the valley below with the best guitar tones known on planet Earth? That would probably be a record-breaking extreme sports first, if…you can figure out how to get the electricity thing to happen at the summit. I am sure we could get a yak to carry your axe, amp, and gear for you. They are known to love music (I think) — almost dancing up the mountain as they go.
But then again…no. We are talking about a different kind of summiting here.
This is Guitar Summit 2026. The biggest guitar show of the year in Europe.
From our metaphoric mountaintop perspective, the “celestial” guitar choice of this Summit has to be this Li’l Angel finished in Natural Bora to Arctic Blue Burst.
