Reversing The Surf

Welcome To The 26 NAMM Fam Celebration

What an interestingly cool thing to do. And you don’t even need a surfboard.

Is it the pull of the full moon upon the Wolfhound that conspires to create this phenomenon, or has the moon now entered the seventh house while Jupiter aligns with Mars?

Maybe so, but any way round, what we are alluding to is the gradient color shift across the face of this Wolfhound – from horns to tail. We call this finish style “Surf,” like coastal waters deepening hues as you move away from the shore.

Normally, we see the horns lighter in color with a darkening towards the rear strap button. But this Wolfie has the opposite optical perspective, with the horns falling into deep red shadows.

This brilliant, one-of-a-kind Red Reverse Surf effect is courtesy of Chicago. More accurately, from the great mind of Make’n Music—the awesome Anderson Guitarworks dealer in the Chicago area.

And with all of Wolfhound’s profound playability, formidable mid-focused muscle, and versatility, let’s not forget to note its matching Satin Transparent Red painted neck back. So nice to hang with.

Happy NAMM 26.
