Cracking Up

We couldn’t help it. Fun at Anderson Guitarworks; it’s a “thing” about this place.

On tour through North America, while in the Southern California area, the fantastic Jason Kui stopped by to pick up his new Angel, finished in Teal WakeSurf. It will be gigging with him for the rest of the tour—I guess you could say it's joining the band.

And most importantly, it is apparently new-guitar-pick-up-protocol that an artist is required, by the Worldwide Federation of Fashion Police, to dress in a similar color scheme to his new guitar. Pretty sure every guitar manufacturer requires this when an artist picks up their guitar, don’t they? Or is it just us? All about Anderson fun, maybe.

Either way, Jason dressed to impress, both his guitar and all of us, even down to his shoes. Check out those concordant stripes.

Our photoshoot reveals the beauty of his new Angel and the fun we had creating it, delivering it and playing it.

By the sequence of 4 pictures you can see the somewhat normal beginning of the session, progressing to all out laughter by the end. A happy Kui…Jason and his Angel, that is.

Catch his tour if you can. So good. Such a marvelous player. And such a great person—the most important aspect for anyone.
