Gigging at Machu Picchu

Well, why not? Just imagine what a great gig that could be as we begin our wise re-emerging process into society again.

A gorgeous place to be. Climbing high up into the clean environment of the Andes mountains, at 7970 feet (2430 meters). Machu Picchu is a Royal Estate of the ancient Incan empire.

With the audience wisely socially distanced you walk onto the stage, Ande in hand, and plug in. “Testing, testing 1,2 3. Can you hear me out there?”  The crowd goes crazy.

Editor’s Note: Anderson Guitars are often affectionately called Ande. Some even feel the mountain range was named after them.

Striking the first chord, shock waves reverberate loudly throughout the entire arena—you can actually feel it as well as hear it. Incredible sonic power is at your command.

So fun.

Launching into your first song, a welcome joy fills the entire area. We have all wanted this for a long time.

But what guitar is up to this monumental event? What guitar would you choose to bring to this mountain paradise concert? It has to be something lightweight that you can haul up the mountain and still have the best tonal qualities and playability of any electric guitar on Earth.

If you are at Machu Picchu, high in the Andes mountains, perhaps it should be this Ande: an Icon Classic, adorned in the timeless vintage shade of Inca Silver.

Paradise in guitar form. Need we say more?
