Out Of Complete & Utter Darkness

Welcome To The 26 NAMM Fam Celebration

The light still shines. It is always there, whether we are aware of it or not. It is what allows us to see into the shadow realm in the first place and then awaken. Yes, some will awaken more quickly than others, but eventually, all will see.

And this is what the light revealed at the 2026 NAMM Show. A fully Black on Black Organic Grain Li’l Angel Player. Ultra cool, ultra stealthy, and completely “bad A.”

Editor’s note: “A” stands for Anderson. “Bad” is actually an antiphrasis referencing good. And “Li’l“ in the name Li’l Angel indicates its Shorty 24 3/4-inch scale length, which adds focused force to the center of its bandwidth and facilitates a bit of a better reach for those who desire such. Ha, you knew all that.

It is this Li’l Angel’s body wood that allows this stealthy Organic Grain, Black with Black Grain look — with intense light shining just enough to gently highlight the blackened Swamp Ash grain — making visualization of this bold black on black contrast even possible. Truly amazing what subtle nuances our eyes are able to see.

And for this “build,” what other fingerboard wood would you possibly choose to top its maple neck back other than Blackheart — with slick and glistening Jumbo frets for the fastest ride of your life?

Gorgeously rich tonalities and timbre are transferred from this Li’l Angel’s musically-tuned  structure directly into a sweet set of twin HC-Series overwound-vintage humbuckers, shrouded by black covers — HC1 & HC2 from neck to bridge, respectively.

From darkness to light. This is not only the real visual power of this impressive Organic Grain, Black with Black, Li’l Angel Player from NAMM 26 but also the power of transformation as the light shines through the darkness, transforming shadow to solution.
