Striking Silver

‎

Striking silver can bring great wealth. But then there is, more importantly, real wealth, which comes in multiple forms, always bringing much greater substance and contentment than mere riches could ever do alone.

You have seen it many times, those with great material resources so often squabbling among themselves – and with others — seemingly never content, never satisfied, never enough. The benefit is that observing these actions helps us all to recognize what is truly valuable, to see a clearer path to a better, much happier, and richer way to experience life.

Support, connection, caring, passion, compassion, and sharing are the things that constitute real wealth, to be sure. Being of the heart, artistic endeavors have always shone a light on this path and brought it within striking distance.

And so, we strike silver with our Bowling Ball-style paint platform. Yes, this is the first time we have seen Silver & Black appear as one of our popular Bowling Ball finish colorways.

And those that knew it could be coming have been clamoring to see it — to see the variation that Silver & Black brings to the Bowling Ball paint geography. And we are certainly with them. Very nice.

A combination of twin, balanced, VA7, true-vintage, single-coil pickups appear here on this Icon Classic in the neck and middle positions, while a shiny Nickel-shrouded HC2 punctuates its place nearest the bridge with super-musical and impressive overwound PAF power and grace, atop a masterfully carved matte Black Pickguard.

And of course we can’t help but shout out about how the Blackheart fingerboard not only grants a coordinated, darkened visual appearance, but also lends a rich, darkened tonal hue to its Alder body wood’s illustrious audio presentation.

Bowling Ball paint scheme, now so popular. Stay tuned as we rack up a few more to share with you in up-and-coming Guitar Tales.
