People Are Staring

As you stand facing the crowd, there is a bit of an awkward silence… But do not be nonplussed for this is the purpose of the Plus.

The crowd is staring…directly at you. They’re waiting. They’re expecting something more. And so are you. The next song in the set. Really cool. One of your favorites, with a bountiful blending of both acoustic and electric guitar parts. The crowd is still waiting, still staring. But…your electric guitar player has left the building.

Wait…What?

An emotional emergency, perhaps. Something about their significant other wanted them home to watch the latest episode of a TV show: A Tree Grows On The Apple Sauce Farm — or something like that. Not even their favorite show.

But now you’re stuck. Hung out to dry in front of everyone — and maybe even at the next gig or two or five. You are in need of another guitar player or at least another guitar part.

Hey, don’t say something like this hasn’t happened to you. It even happens on national tours — not that we are naming names.

But, as with anything in life, there is always a solution. And we do have a very cool one for you.

In Guitar Tales from May 21, 2026, entitled Flower Power, we showed you Crowdster, our Live Music Acoustic guitar for plugging in and filling the arena with unabashed and uncompromised plugged-in acoustic guitar tones. No need to delicately EQ around standing waves or feedback, just plug and go.

But still, what do you do when your electric guitar player leaves the gig to go home early and watch TV?

As we said above, no need to be nonplussed, just be plussed instead — Crowdster Plus.

And what is a Crowdster when it is a Plus?

Crowdster, Plus an electric guitar pickup that is specifically and especially designed to listen to bronze strings. It is supportively willing to also stand and deliver beautiful electric guitar tones that happily mix, match, or run alone or blend with “Crowdy’s” already impressive acoustic guitar properties.

And you can influence these tones any way you like — as with any electric guitar, through pedals, amps, processors. Your choice.

Yes, Crowdster Plus:

The benefit? A massively impressive intermingling of a multitude of tones. Many times, in live circumstances, we have heard the audience audibly gasp when both sounds are presented simultaneously.

The crowd goes (relatively) crazy listening and watching as you play. Yay!

Hope TV was good…

And, if your electric guitar player does return, just imagine the added dimension the band will have with the addition of Crowdster Plus, so either way it is a plus situation.

Traditional look or “wild child” — also your choice. This one showing out with a Quilted Maple Top in Abalone to Transparent Purple Burst — a wonderfully wild Crowdster Plus rendition.
