Ocean Storm Rolls In…Again

Bringing welcome gifts from nature as the environment is nourished. For this issue of Guitar Tales, they arrive with Angelic clouds of quilted maple.

Yes, it is our wonderful playing, 24 fret, Angel finished in Ocean Storm Double Wipeout. Last time we were able to share this color with you it was on a Drop Top with a Flame Maple topped body, from Guitar Tales on May 5, 2022, entitled “Doubling Up.”

But this time…

Clouds of quilted maple gather to cover the surface of this beautiful Angel

We wanted you to be able to see how this dramatic Ocean Storm Double Wipeout stain treatment manifests on both Flame (from the past issue) and Quilt Maple so you can choose your favorite.

It is always astounding how the gifts of nature manifest in our lives—often in such abundance that we can miss fully recognizing them. And it seems as though the more we appreciate their presence the more they multiply. But we are noticing now. It is always good to stop…stop for a moment and just observe.

The optional array of its chosen Hum/Single/Hum pickup layout delivers a plethora of sonic selections at your beck and call—from crushing full humbucker tones to surprisingly excellent single coil renderings. The utmost in flexible versatility, all ferried from a traditional and intuitive 5-Way switching system—with a few extra options to allow you to access so much more, when desired.

Let us pause and breathe in the clean air and sonic gifts that an ocean storm of this magnitude can bring.
