Throwing The Shade Of Speed

Life is too short and every moment too valuable to throw shade but it is certainly joyous to share the shade of speed.

Fast and sleek and handles like a dream, yes. And you can even have it with soulful, vintage-inspired style, without giving up an ounce of ultra performance. After all, this is Anderson Guitarworks. We would have it no other way.

Pro Am T, blazing fast in Ferrari Red—Satin Organic Grain style—with Black grain shadowing.

Pristine and precise tremolo duties are enthusiastically undertaken by our J-Trem bridge and tailpiece. Intonation is wonderfully in tune as strings slide across our specially designed, slippery and hardened saddles—where strings go to glide glitch free. Subtle, precise and beautiful tremolo function is easily articulated with just a touch of the bar.

P power provided via our PH-Series pickups, PH1-, PH2, respectively from neck to bridge. PH pickups are hum-cancelling “P-90 / Soapbar” sounding coils but with a humbucker footprint, so they are much more universally accepted into conventional pickup routs of the guitar—in case you want to overpower things down the road with the installation of humbuckers. But we do have both styles of Ps, PH and the soapbar look of our PQs, for your visual preference. Sonically they are the same so you are free to select your favorite to best suit your preferred visual vibe.

A traditional and intuitive 3-Way blade-style selector switch fires the pickups to life while a mini toggle for each individual pickup allows you to “cut” power for mixing and matching of “vintage single” or “P” level power output—all hum free—for a ridiculously fun amount of versatility from a twin pickup layout. 8 gorgeous sounds in all.

And as some of you may have noticed, a special last appearance by the original gig bag in all its “ready to rock” glory—before the arrival of our new “throw-it-down-the-stairs” (don’t actually do this) official Anderson Guitarworks branded ultra-plush, super-protective gig bag—coming soon.

So…what have we learned together today in Guitar Tales—besides all the cool guitar specs?

It is never a good thing to throw shade but it is always a good thing to share shade—especially if it is sharing the shade of your Anderson Guitar as you throw it around during the appropriate guitar playing stage gymnastics often required when playing out—or jamming at home. Enjoy it all.
