I’ll be purple for Christmas (fill in your favorite holiday)
You can count on me
Please have snow and a menorah glow
And an Anderson Raven Classic under the tree.
Wonderful tones will find me
Where the amp light gleams
I'll be home for Christmas (fill in your favorite holiday)
With the ultimate guitar of my dreams
Well, that is probably enough fun festive singing for right now, but certainly not enough holiday cheer when it comes to this beautifully unique Raven Classic. Check this out:
Most notably, it is purple, but not just any purple per se. This is Sparkle Purple.
Sparkle Purple?
Okay, if you say so, but it seemingly radiates with a different vibe than expected. Still an undeniably gorgeous shade for sure, but this one boasts an alternatively soft sheen shining under the lights rather than the sharply shimmering characteristic that would normally be associated with sparkle paint.
What is going on here?
This is Satin Sparkle Purple. It has a satin topcoat rather than the more traditional gloss treatment.
When a color is finished with either a gloss or a satin topcoat, it usually appears as the same shade—with just a different sheen defining it as either Gloss or Satin.
For most colors, this is true…but not necessarily where sparkle and metallic colors are concerned. It is here with sparkle shades that we can see some subtle and some wide differences in their appearance because of the way a gloss finish activates and energizes the sparkles, refracting light with a harder and more direct edge. On the other hand, a satin topcoat with a Sparkle Finish shows out with a softer and warmer glow of color.
This Raven Classic takes it even farther with a bodaciously bold, Pearl Black Pickguard and J-Trem “horseshoe” plate proliferating this Raven Classic’s outstanding look, all the while offering a welcome home for its MMH pickup lineup.
Dual MC1 mini-humbuck pickups in the neck and middle positions proliferate gorgeous gargantuan single coil + tones – and beyond – providing powerful support for the over-wound, vintage firepower of the HC2 humbucker at the bridge position. All of this electromagnetic excitement is shrouded under the guise of definitive raw nickel covers for an even more cohesive guitar vision.
So good. And now, shall we sing our way out?
Ready then…1, 2, 3, 4

It all sounds so right…
Merry and Happy Everything to all and to all a good night.
