Meet Ron

And say “Hi,” to Clint.

Yes, this is Clint Cherry’s new Transparent Black, T Classic. This guitar is not only…

Okay, Wait…Hold it! Sorry…

I am pretty sure I said that all completely backwards and sideways. Let’s try again, shall we:

Meet Ron,

This is the one-and-only Clint Black’s new Transparent Cherry, T Classic—specced out just the way he wanted it.

Clint and his crew have dubbed his new Ande “Ron” because its Transparent Cherry finish emotes with a beautiful Burgundy coloration—reminding them of Ron…Burgundy, of course.

You can imagine how well that works in a live situation, immediately descriptive and how fun it is to say.

“I’ll play Ron on this song.”

So, Ladies and Gentleman, may we introduce Ron…and you already know Clint.

Yep, it's fun every day here in Anderson Guitarworks.

Clint specced his T Classic as:

Short T Classic ( 24 3/4-inch scale length) for super–amenable Anderson playability.

Alder body for the wood tone he likes the most for this style of guitar.

Transparent Cherry over Alder’s natural tan tint, rendering this “burgundy” shade.

Vintage Tremolo bridge decked on the body for added versatility and stability.

HxT pickup layout under the control of an Anderson 5-Way; easily mixing and matching 5 combinations of full and split sounds.

V-Quiet hum-cancelling for quiet rendering of true single coil and real split tones in all positions where it is needed.

But more importantly than all of that…

When interacting with someone “known,” people always ask, “What are they like?” And they never want to hear, “oh a great guitar player.” or “an awesome singer.” That is not what they are asking. What they really want to know is what kind of a person are they really?

So just to set the record straight. Clint Black: The best ever! A kind, thoughtful and fun person that is always fantastic to interact with. Yes, this is a good human being and we are honored to have him as an Anderson Artist.

Now you know the real story about both Ron and Clint. Keep it amongst yourselves.

Editors note: And here’s Clint accepting the ACM Poet’s Award - congrats Clint!
