4T - NAMM Fun 1

The title of this first Guitar Tales for 2024 sounds like we could be starting off the year’s fun Anderson festivities by showcasing 4 T-style guitars.

And that would be a good assumption—but no. There is so much more.

4 Ts will definitely appear in upcoming Tales but as the New Year begins we want to celebrate something very special with you.

4T…This year marks 40 years of Anderson Guitarworks. We are celebrating:

• 40 years of unparalleled excellence.

• 40 years of innovation.

• 40 years of caring about each and every detail.

• 40 years of Tom Anderson, the man himself—still here creating and happy—along with all the rest of us. (How many companies can say that?)

Before we go on any farther, let me stop and share a top secret tidbit with you that Tom will not want me to tell you…but you should know. I think it makes all the difference and highlights the reason Anderson Guitarworks is Anderson Guitarworks and has been so for 40 years.

I have personally known and worked with Tom for 40 years myself. As you can imagine, during that time I have seen virtually everything—every good time, every challenge, every adversity, every elation.

All of it.

Through every situation I have continually been pleased and impressed, not only with his effortless and obvious genius but even more importantly with the quality of his character as a person. Everything he does is with an honor and a caring for everyone—always moving forward to create the greatest good from any situation. This leads to unencumbered clear thoughts and flowing innovation for which the whole company and our players benefit and thrive. It is this aspect that is the extra “secret ingredient” further elevating every guitar we make.

Okay now let’s pretend I did not let you in on the real inside secret workings of the Guitarworks. Let’s just keep this between ourselves, shall we.

But this part you can tell everyone:

Every guitar launching from Anderson Guitarworks in 2024 will bear the badge of our 40 years on the back of the headstock.

It will appear as such:

Let the celebrations begin!

And then there is…NAMM Fun 1

Sparkle here, Sparkle there, Sparkle, Sparkle everywhere.

Yes, it is once again the month of NAMM, the music industry’s big trade show.

And for our first January/NAMM celebratory guitar, it is the Anderson debut of Big Sparkle paint jobs—now appearing as “Beautiful High Gloss”—no longer only available as an In-Distress finish. This should make all the glossy, sparkle finish fanatics very happy. It certainly makes us happy.

Hooray for shiny, new, gloss finishes!

This Li’l Angel is happy to take center stage wearing High Gloss, Big Sparkle Orange, but you can now get any of our Big Sparkle colors shimmering as glossy and new.

And doesn’t this guitar look sharp? Sharper than normal, I mean?

Well it should look sharp because this Li’l Angel Player also has a sharper body edge radius (without binding) for an alternatively “edgy” look—available as an off-menu option for Angel Player and Pro Am.

Let the NAMM/January fun begin, as well!
