Ultra Mystery Of The Missing Burst Busted

‎

For those that have been ultimately engaged in ultra-important considerations concerning the colors emanating from the Ultra Violet Blue family, there has always been the question: Would you like it with a Blue Edge Burst or with a Purple Edge Burst? You can get it in either one of these two renderings. Both are beautiful, and both have appeared for several years — without question.

Until…one day when Anthony (probably a super-genius) asked a very important empirical question.

“Why?”

See, what did I say? Pure genius. Anyway, he continued,

“May I have Ultra Violet Blue without a burst, please? This color option is nowhere to be found anywhere on the color list.”

Surprising but understandable.

You see, the bursted edge has an appreciable influence over the final color’s emergence — each rendition looking very different from one another. Because of the significant purple and blue burst influence factor, we did not know what the color would do on its own when exposed to high levels of Ultra Violet radiation without being surrounded and bounded by a protective burst barrier. Or slathered with sunscreen.

Editor’s Note: Do not actually apply sunscreen to your guitar, this was merely a joke made for entertainment purposes only.

We gave this new alternative colorway a try and delightfully discovered a new interpretation within the visible light spectrum where Ultra Violet Blue is concerned. Yes, for this cosmic coloration, it is apparently not necessarily necessary to always burst when “crazy” Quilt Maple abounds so profoundly.

So, even though there has never been an Ultra Violet Blue without either a Blue or Purple Edge Burst that manifested before this moment in time, it is now as though it has existed since the beginning of all creation — or at least somewhere in that 30 billion-year window.

Such is the way with things that seem as if they were always meant to be. Once they are brought into the light of the visible world by a creative mind, in this case linked in time to the timelessness of a Drop Top, we then discover together that bursting is no longer universally obligatory.

But have no worries, there is no ban on bursting, it is just that now you have three gorgeous choices, rather than two, when Ultra Violet Blue rises within your Anderson, electric guitar consciousness and calls to you.
