With Just A Hint Of Bursted Bravado
/
Braving the winds of naturalness at its center, with only a hint of burst riding at the outer edge of this guitar (and maybe even the outer edge of the galaxy, or not that far) — but either way, very classy indeed.
This is: The Classic.
The Classic is our original classic S-styled instrument—always loved and always revered for years. The Classic is where classic S-styling meets with some sleek and practical magic, elevating the S experience for those players desiring a more universal approach.
Of course, it imparts that impeccable Anderson playability, phenomenal in-tune nature, and exceptional plugged-in and unplugged tone that make these guitars legendary. But The Classic itself is defined by all the S you would come to expect but also with:
• Gorgeously svelte, sharper-edged body
• Swooping, smooth, sleek, and comfortable body contours
• Beautifully contoured neck-to-body heel for more comfortable high fret access
• Side jack to get the cord off the face of the guitar and interface with either straight or right-angle plugs
• Two-knob layout for master control over volume and tone with room in the middle for additional switching to more naturally and easily facilitate diverse desired functions.
In earnest, let’s take a look at what Ernest did with The Classic he sagaciously specced out. A toneful Alder body shows its modestly beautiful and organic wood grain through its Satin Natural finish that only has a Light Tobacco Shaded Edge Burst at its perimeter. A very cool look and the first time we have seen this. And it certainly blends beautifully with its Chocolate Maple-backed neck and gorgeous-sounding Rosewood fingerboard.
Three slightly pumped VA7.2-Series pickups sound vintage-wonderful. If you are a vintage single-coil pickup player, you will happily lose your musical mind and heart here. And…because of the implementation of our V-Quiet system, these also operate whisper-quiet during idle.
Shhh: Editor’s Note: Quiet as long as you are hanging onto the strings and not doing unnatural things, like touching the pole pieces with your hands while dragging your stocking feet across your new carpet as you rub your hair with a balloon while the relative humidity in the room hovers around 16%. But if you simply and joyfully align your playing persona with the natural laws of electromagnetic physics, you are golden…and quiet.
And speaking of golden, it just continues to get better as the comforting glow of this organic guitar is further featured from the depth and richness provided by the inclusion of a Gold Logo on the headstock, Pearl White Pickguard, and warm-hued Gold Hardware.
Yes, an honestly and earnestly awesome guitar for Ernest: The Classic in Satin Light Tobacco Shaded Edge.
Thank you.
