As Cool As Ice

Welcome To The 26 NAMM Fam Celebration

And so iconic, infused with unparalleled soul and vibe from its inner essence outward. This is the vintage instrument you have always dreamed of since you were a kid, imagining what you could do with that one supremely magical iconic axe in your hands.

To create, have, and to hold the heart and soul of the vintage electric guitar that has the “it factor” has to start with those that actually experienced them, immersed themselves in them, grew up with them, endlessly gigged them, and became one with what they could inspire when done just right. Anderson Guitarworks, real people and players, rich experience and background, forward thinking, a deep understanding of what it was, what it is, could and should be, and attention to detail — the details that matter, that create the vibe to meld as one beautiful sounding and performing instrument in your hands.

This is the Icon Classic — the vintage guitar beyond your dreams.

Impeccable sound accompanied by smooth, flowing, and fast playability that lifts you. Is it vintage magic? And so it seems. You could call it that.

Any color you like (almost, yes). Here, Icon is dressed and radiating under the lights of the NAMM Show in Metallic Ice Purple—a color made popular by the one-and-only Christopher Cross.

But you can equip yours any way that best aligns with your playing and optical preferences. This Metallic Ice Purple’s electric bragging rights come via a balanced set of VA7- (minus, aka low-wind) pickups in the neck and middle positions, while an overwound PAF-like HC2 takes up residency at the bridge. Unlike other Anderson pickups, VA7s are true vintage single coils, voiced and wound to resound with rich and soulful effervescence. Lavish and percussively present. We offer the VA7 line in slightly varying power levels for you to fine-tune just how you would want it. These are the pickups to choose if you have always been a vintage pickup player, always preferred their timbre, and are always seeking to find the best within the realm of what vintage coils offer up. If so, you will be so, so, soulfully satisfied.

And managing the 60-cycle hum that comes with real single coils is our exclusively wonderful V-Quiet hum-cancelling system. It knows when and what you are playing and requests, “all quiet on the single coil front.”

Could anyone have more fun than this at The NAMM Show? Well, maybe, as much, as the fun has now shifted to Morgan Music in Lebanon, Missouri, where this cool Metallic Ice Purple, Icon Classic, may be found for the moment.
