Anderson TV: Episode 20

Anderson Artist Cody Davis came by to try out our new Angel 7 model, and fell in love with this Angel Player 7 in Super Sonic Gray. With a Fixed Bridge, a set of our H Series pickups (calibrated for 7-strings), 2 Cut Switches switching, and a set of Elixir 10-62 strings.

Angel 7 represents a lot of re-thinking what a 7 string model should be, along with input from our Artists, Dealers, and Anderson fans worldwide. We offer several bridges, pickups, exotic tops, and all of our usual custom options. You can start building yours here.

Song: Cody Davis - "BSG"

Mix/Master/Edit: Sean Ashe for Undeniable Spectacle Productions

Anderson TV: Episode 19

Our UK dealer Peach Guitars visited us earlier this year, and put together one of the best, most thorough shop tours ever done here! It’s available on their YouTube channel - see below. Check it out, and big thanks to the whole team at Peach Guitars!

From Peach: "One of our most exciting events of 2022 was sealing the deal to become the UK’s EXCLUSIVE Tom Anderson dealer! We’ve long coveted the incredible work of Tom and his team and after years of working on a deal, we finally got the opportunity in 2022, and boy are we excited by it! During our trip to Southern California we stopped by the factory to meet the team and learn a little bit more about their build process."

Anderson TV: Episode 18

Anderson Artist Jason Kui visited the factory to give us his first impressions of our new Angel 7 Player:

We combined our Angel and Seven models, and came up with something we’re really happy with: Angel 7.

The pre-production Angel Player 7 seen here represents a lot of re-thinking what a 7 string model should be, along with input from our Artists, Dealers, and Anderson fans worldwide.

Big thanks to Jason Kui for his feedback. The song he's playing here is "Squeaky Switch" from his album Absence of Words.

See below for the full play-thru!

Anderson TV: Episode 13

In this fun video edition of Guitar Tales we are going to let the Angel do most of the talking-in the hands of Jason Kui. Audio, video and still photos all recorded in the Anderson Guitarworks Studio. Special thanks to guitar player extraordinaire, Sean Ashe, who recorded audio and shot the video.

In this fun video edition of Guitar Tales we are going to let the Angel do most of the talking—in the hands of Jason Kui.

Audio, video and still photos all shot in the Anderson Guitarworks Studio.

Fun fact is that it was actually guitar player extraordinaire, Sean Ashe, who recorded and shot the video while we crawled along the floor throughout the performance, like stealthy special forces operatives, shooting the stills.

Jason simply plugged his Angel straight into the the face of a Mesa/Boogie JP 2-C and launched into his original composition, Morning Breeze.

For full specs of Jason’s Angel, check out Guitar Tales.

http://www.soundpure.com/search/tom-anderson https://timpierceguitar.com/videos/ The best source for Tom Anderson's guitars is http://www.soundpure.com/search/tom-anderson Here's a video that I really enjoyed making - it's basically 5 different Tom Anderson guitar's - each guitar gets 8 bars over a 6/8 rhythm feel.

"Top 5 Guitars By Tom Anderson" - another great video from the great Tim Pierce!

Click this link to get access to free extra videos and the masterclass! https://timpierceguitar.com/videos/ A number of years ago I got to play a guitar part on the song "Black or White" and spend a fine afternoon with Michael Jackson. I had just finished an amazing record with Pat Leonard's "Toy Matinee"-produced by Bill Bottrell.

Who's that with the well-appointed Candy Apple Red Raven? None other than Tim Pierce, the legendary session guitarist with way more credits than we could list. He's also an incredible teacher, and here he takes us through his part from Michael Jackson's "Black or White", and talks about the backstory of the song's development.

Now with a bass track and different mic blending! This is a prototype and the actual production model will be even more crushing! Seymour Duncan Nazgul 7 string bridge pickup. This is a prototype for the new model coming out soon. What a killer pickup it is.

Need something heavy for your Halloween playlist? Well, here's Anderson Artist Jason Frankhouser with some screaming lead riffage and downright crushing rhythm tones. Courtesy of his Anderson Guitarworks Seven, and a Fortin Evil Pumpkin amplifier. Scary good!

Great solo guitar spot by Dawayne Bailey of Chicago at the Budokan Arena in 1993.

Time for a throwback of excellence: Dawayne Bailey of Bob Seger and Chicago fame, live at the Budokan Arena in 1993. Playing an early Classic model, he brings his own interpretation of the guitar solo to the famed Budokan in this uniquely stunning performance. A real musician and all-around virtuoso, we're honored to call Dawayne an Anderson Artist, and a friend. See the Dawayne Bailey Fan Page for more.

http://blog.naver.com/stellamore Uses: Tom Anderson Crowdster Acoustic Line 6 Helix Apple Macbook Pro Apple Logic Pro X Apogee Duet 2

In the previous episode of Anderson TV, the amazing Joan Armatrading showed us that her Crowdster was capable of quite a bit more than just lush acoustic-electric goodness - with a soulful, scorching slide guitar performance.
And here's even more evidence, from our friend S-Rock (vocalist/guitarist of White Ribbon Band). He turns up the gain and gets some great heavy tones, courtesy of Crowdster's mahogany construction and LR Baggs/Anderson-EQed piezo system.
Check out S-Rock's YouTube Channel for more videos, including some nice sound samples and reviews of his Crowdster and Crowdster Plus 2.

Anderson TV: Episode 6

Perhaps you thought our Crowdster model was mostly for achieving lush acoustic guitar tones, without the pitfalls of troublesome feedback and compromised tonality?

Well, yes, but it's also capable of so much more - as the amazing Joan Armatrading shows us here.

And that's just the original Crowdster model! We also offer it in several pickup configurations, as well as the more minimalist Player model.

With Crowdster there is no compromise, just pure playing pleasure.

*Now available with the original 6-on-a-side headstock, or a more traditional 3+3.
