Anderson TV: Episode 20

Anderson Artist Cody Davis came by to try out our new Angel 7 model, and fell in love with this Angel Player 7 in Super Sonic Gray. With a Fixed Bridge, a set of our H Series pickups (calibrated for 7-strings), 2 Cut Switches switching, and a set of Elixir 10-62 strings.

Angel 7 represents a lot of re-thinking what a 7 string model should be, along with input from our Artists, Dealers, and Anderson fans worldwide. We offer several bridges, pickups, exotic tops, and all of our usual custom options. You can start building yours here.

Song: Cody Davis - "BSG"

Mix/Master/Edit: Sean Ashe for Undeniable Spectacle Productions

Anderson TV: Episode 18

Anderson Artist Jason Kui visited the factory to give us his first impressions of our new Angel 7 Player:

We combined our Angel and Seven models, and came up with something we’re really happy with: Angel 7.

The pre-production Angel Player 7 seen here represents a lot of re-thinking what a 7 string model should be, along with input from our Artists, Dealers, and Anderson fans worldwide.

Big thanks to Jason Kui for his feedback. The song he's playing here is "Squeaky Switch" from his album Absence of Words.

Anderson TV: Episode 13

In this fun video edition of Guitar Tales we are going to let the Angel do most of the talking—in the hands of Jason Kui.

Audio, video and still photos all shot in the Anderson Guitarworks Studio.

Fun fact is that it was actually guitar player extraordinaire, Sean Ashe, who recorded and shot the video while we crawled along the floor throughout the performance, like stealthy special forces operatives, shooting the stills.

Jason simply plugged his Angel straight into the the face of a Mesa/Boogie JP 2-C and launched into his original composition, Morning Breeze.

For full specs of Jason’s Angel, check out Guitar Tales.

Time for a throwback of excellence: Dawayne Bailey of Bob Seger and Chicago fame, live at the Budokan Arena in 1993. Playing an early Classic model, he brings his own interpretation of the guitar solo to the famed Budokan in this uniquely stunning performance. A real musician and all-around virtuoso, we're honored to call Dawayne an Anderson Artist, and a friend. See the Dawayne Bailey Fan Page for more.

Anderson TV: Episode 6

Perhaps you thought our Crowdster model was mostly for achieving lush acoustic guitar tones, without the pitfalls of troublesome feedback and compromised tonality?

Well, yes, but it's also capable of so much more - as the amazing Joan Armatrading shows us here.

And that's just the original Crowdster model! We also offer it in several pickup configurations, as well as the more minimalist Player model.

With Crowdster there is no compromise, just pure playing pleasure.

*Now available with the original 6-on-a-side headstock, or a more traditional 3+3.

Geo Evans Dropped by...

Geo Evans dropped by Anderson Guitarworks for a visit. Always nice to have him, and his Drop Top, drop by. Geo and his Anderson have played with Michael Jackson, Chaka Khan and Ray Parker Jr.

He and his 18 year old Dark Honey Burst, Drop Top still look really good. And to prove it, we asked him to stay and play awhile as we grabbed a few shots of Geo and his Ande joyfully jammin’ away.
