Don’t Look Back

Or is that, Don’t Look Black (to me)?

Either way, if you look back (to black) you will most certainly see that White could be the new Black. Or should we say White is the new Back...or is that White is the new Black Back?

No matter which way you say it, Black and White have always been excellent friends and excellent base colors for almost everything.

Angel and Drop Top tradition has been to have a complementary matching color back to support the drama of the guitar’s prismatic maple top. Conversely, you often see a black back providing gorgeous contrast, offering a strong foundation from which a vibrant maple top can emote.

But sneaking onto the scene in the last few years and becoming more and more popular with each passing day is a White back—the other foundational color. You might even wonder what took the guitar industry so long?

And when someone gets really creatively inspired they may even select a complementary White Headstock with Custom Logo.

Let’s check out this Fire Sunset Double Wipeout, Angel with its White back and White Matching Headstock—set a blaze by it’s custom Orange Logo, further pronouncing the fire of its sunset color scheme.

An Ande twin humbuck setup not only projects commanding and extremely musical humbucker tones but also splits down to officiate wonderful, single coil sounds with effortless ease and grace.

When the “guys” from Peach Guitars—our dealer in the UK and one of the coolest guitar stores on the planet—flew over for a visit, they happily helped us out with the final test-play for this profound Angel. So good.

Yes, we do always have your back.
