The Many Faces Of Black

Last time in Guitar Tales we showed you a magnificent example of Satin Transparent Black Burst—on a Guardian Angel.  

It was extreme…and extremely well received.  Thank you. 

Now, in this edition of Guitar Tales, a variant on that blackened theme—but a variant that creates yet another unique and bold black finish. 

This is: Satin Natural Black Burst—on an Angel.

The “natural” aspect of this alternate black universe balances more natural maple woodgrain and blackened shadows at its nucleus before bursting outward to an ever-deepening black saturation at the outermost regions of the body's perimeter. 

And since you have read this far into Guitar Tales we have another treat to share with you.

There is even more to this Angel—an ingredient making it a heavenly instrumental offering indeed.

Ziricote.

Ziri-what-ie? 

Pronounced: siri-co-tay

Look closely at its beautiful fingerboard.  This is Ziricote—an exotic Mexican/Central American hardwood.  Gorgeous in its appearance.  Dark and lush, it can also be visually invigorated by fiery highlights at times.

Sonically, it seems to support and announce its presence with a very rosewood-like aura—full round bottom, articulated with smooth highs—very sweet.

Now we are not saying that our select Ziricote comes to us especially from remote regions surrounding the ancient Mayan pyramid of the serpent at the Temple of Kukulcan.  Nope, not saying that at all.  Are we?   

What we are saying is that this gorgeous Angel arrived to The Guitar Sanctuary shortly before Eddie Tillman walked into their impressive shop.  Eddie took one look at this Satin Natural Black Burst, Angel, with the first Ziricote fingerboard—and it disappeared—just vanished—right before their eyes.

This gorgeous Angel now gigs with Eddie—every evening.
