What Is This Anyway?

“Welcome everyone and thank you for coming to the 1,235th fortnightly Anderson Guitarworks Cool-Guitar Exposé—where we always have fun seeing, discussing and celebrating the depth of life and cool guitars…and where it is rumored that you can get your forehead autographed by Tom for only $11.37 (but personally I would not believe everything you’ve heard about that—most likely just a rumor).

Okay then, let’s begin: What Is This Anyway?

What are we looking at?  Anyone? Anyone?

Yes, you in the corner with your hand up and waving it in the air like a frantic guitar fanatic, what do you think we are seeing before us now?”

“I believe this to be the long-awaited reemergence of the Anderson Pro Am T, dressed up in Black and with the special option of Natural Binding and Gold Hardware.”

“Wow!  You are completely correct, yes, this is the reemergence of the magnificent Pro Am T.  But how did you know that so quickly?  Who are you?"

“I am Jason Kui and I specced and ordered this awesome Pro Am T for my Anderson arsenal.”

“It is Jason Kui everyone!”  (The room erupts into applause.)

Jason Kui is a fantastic guitar player and a super-nice guy who is a professional and touring guitar player for many of the biggest acts in Hong Kong.  They tour the world and have even played Madison Square Garden.   To know Jason is to love him.

Editor’s Note: We will be featuring Jason in upcoming Guitar Tales as well so you can watch for him.

Jason has several Anderson Axes but wanted to add the Pro Am T to his quiver.

So then…this begs the question: Can a grown-up person actually fit into a guitar case?

Wait…no…wrong question, sorry.  It begs this question instead:

What is a Pro Am T?

Pro Am T:

  • T-shaped body—Anderson style—immaculate

  • All-Tonewood body—no “exotic” wood top—solid or hollow

  • Non-Pickguard styling

  • Traditional (25 1/2) or Shorty (24 3/4)-inch scale length

  • Any Anderson neck shape and frets

  • Any Anderson Pickup configuration

  • Any Anderson bridge available

  • All Anderson Switching available.

So, in short (and in long-scale too):

Pro Am T is an absolutely no-holds-barred, ultra-performing, Anderson T-Guitar with a clean and cool, no-pickguard style and all-tonewood  voice.

“Thank you everyone for coming to the Anderson Guitarworks Cool-Guitar Exposé.  We hope you had fun. Don’t forget to grab your free Anderson Guitarworks, Pro Am T party balloon on the way out.  And thank you Jason Kui for you and your Pro Am T.”

“Thank you Anderson Guitarworks for having me.”

“Always!”
